Na Mara

By Maria Liddy

The sea carries mystery and depth, flowing between the visible world and the unseen.

Na Mara drifts into this hidden tide, where the outer ocean mirrors our inner landscape.

Rich layers of oil gather like weathered stone and shifting sand, building texture, contrast,

and movement.

Bold, living strokes awaken sky and shoreline breathing energy and quiet wildness into the canvas.

Here the shore stands in all its rugged, untamed beauty, stirring a sense of freedom

and wide-open becoming.

We are not separate from its rhythm, but part of its unfolding journey.

Na Mara means ‘of the sea’ in Irish, a soft reminder

of our interconnectedness to nature and the great ocean that surrounds us.
