Divis mountain is in the heart of the Belfast Hills and provides a beautiful backdrop to the city's skyline.

This painting began as part of the Féile an Phobail Landscape Artist of the Year Competition, in which it won first place. Artists were invited to travel to Divis mountain, choose a site to paint from and in an allocated time, capture that scene. 

It was beautiful to explore the rich landscape of this area and the varied tones within its vast sprawling moorland.
